The Bicester Collection
The brief:
Define internal tone of voice and messaging guidelines based on a new strategic direction.
This document had to both establish the brand’s tone and provide concrete writing guidance, while remaining accessible to non-professional writers.
It included an overview of the brand’s voice, actionable writing principles, do’s and don’ts, an emblematic word bank, and examples of the new tone in action across different touchpoints.

Lalalab
Packaging catchphrases
The brief:
Add personality to Lalalab’s packaging with catchphrases that embody its young, bubbly brand persona.
Lalalab is one of Europe’s leading photo printing services. With their main customer bases in France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, the challenge here was finding on-brand English copy that non-native speakers would easily understand.
In my last full-time role before going freelance, I acted as the English-language writer and editor at Paris-based media company, My Little Paris. I began as the sole writer for a daily editorial content app that MLP launched in London, before transferring to the Paris office in 2016.
There, I led the content for My Little Paris’s first English-language lifestyle newsletter, defining story angles, crafting the content calendar, drafting, and even creating visual content for emails.
Simultaneously, I worked on copy and storytelling across a variety of in-house initiatives, including advertorial content, product copy for a subscription beauty box, and branding work via MLP’s in-house white label agency.

The brief:
Create a series of press kits, long-form articles, and email newsletters for two flagship brands in the RC portfolio: Rémy Martin cognac and Cointreau triple sec.
Occasions included the anniversaries of the Sidecar and Original Margarita, RM and Cointreau’s art commissions, Cointreau’s annual Margarita Challenge, and the 2021 redesign of Cointreau’s iconic square bottle.

Working from the client’s pre-approved tagline, “Change your worldview,” position Euronews as an impartial global news source inspired by the values of the EU.
